Random stuff from Owen Aaron

Groggy from my recent slumber I have wrestled myself from a nice cozy warm bed to face this cold day. As I stare blanky at my cat vigorousely washing his unmentionables with his tongue I wonder… does he have taste buds? Did Jehovah design his tastebuds to sense poo as sweet, perhaps tasting to him as mint chocolate chip ice cream to me? Ive also noticed that all the food I have purchased for him is brown. Coincidence? I think not.

Today seems like a good day to add some humor. At times life can get to you. it could be regrets of the past, anxieties of today or hopes of the future that cause fear or anger or sadness, however, if we look intently at our hopes and dreams of the future we can see that the anxieties of the present are nothing more then the building blocks required to achieve those goals. These anxieties are not so, they are not trials they are not evil, they are potential. Potential for change, for action, for knowledge and experience, exciting! This idea reminds me of a saying “nothing worth doing is easy.” Amen

What of the regrets of the past? I’ll get to that later, I want to take a shower. Humor time is now =)

Supposedly Im this really intelligent technical mind. Something happened today that has shaken my faith of self. My aunt gave me this sweet surround sound system about 6 months ago. Recently it began shutting off. After troubleshooting it seemed to happen when the sound raised, a.k.a larger power draw, I would hear a click and then the power was off. If I turned it off for 10 minutes or so it would work but still only at low volumes. Eventually it just stopped functioning entirely. I took it apart checking for a blown capacitor (sometimes you can see the little cylinders with a pooched out top showing it needs to be replaced), no blown capacitors. I didnt see anything else out of the ordinary so I put it back togeather. Today I decided to dismantle it so I could get my DVDs out and junk it. After ripping out all the DVD trays and snapping a circuit board in half there it was…. I cant believe I destroyed a $300 system because I overlooked a .99 cent fuse.
AND now my car is overheating… I know what happens next but no one is getting my lunch money without a fight.

This will be short one today. Phase one of my three phase plan to take over the world is happening today. Flyers are going up all over Lewiston/Auburn and Bath/Brunswick. Should be a hoot!

EDIT: So Sony in their glory decided to copywrite protect videos on youtube so the previously embedded media failed. This is a new one is a video of a live performance from CROSSFADE singing INVINCIBLE but if I am thwarted yet again you can just go to youtube and search for invincible… All praise the power of capitolism.

The old lady downstairs that had been picking bottles out of the dumpster hasnt been for a few weeks now. I brought her down a bag of bottles a few days ago, honestly I was feeling bad for her having to pick them out of trash, anyway she has been sick it seems. She had to stay a few nights in the hospital. The next bag of bottles I bring down I’ll see if she needs anything. Either I am exceedingly nice or I am the proper degree of nice in an otherwise very ugly world, i havent figured it out yet.
I havent talked about my patriots at all this season, whats wrong with me! 9-0! Ahh it is nice to be a patriots fan. I never thought when I was a kid I would be saying that. I remember playing tecmo superbowl and using the patriots to challenge myself since they only had one good defensive player (andre Tippett) and one good offensive player (marv cook), both only average at best. The game with the colts was an incredible one for sure. I had a few friends over and we had a blast. Those two pass interference calls in the first half made the game closer then it would have been otherwise, Im just glad they were able to overcome.
Lets see what else… Oh, I finished two brochures and a flyer for Electronic Solutions. I link them if anyone wants to check them out. brochure cover brochure inside flyer. Rob took a week off so we are going to plaster rumford/mexico, lewiston/auburn and bath/brunswick this week. I was researching a while back and cost of housing in bath/brunswick is somewhat more expensive then the area I am in but is expected to drop sharply since the air base will be shutting down. Im hoping to expand the business in the surrounding areas and move my home office there over the next few years.
Oh I read an Agitha Christie book “murder on the orient express". The book seriously rocks. I couldnt put it down from the first page and the ending is sweet, so expected yet unexpected. I guessed who done it too! well mosty, I had two guesses and one was right.

Thats all I have for today, nothing special but its not like I write this crap for anyone elses benifit but my own!
