So we got like 6 inches of snow today, perhaps more. This winter has been incredible so far. This time last year I hiked tumbledown… if only. These holidays are cutting into my gym time too, Im going out of my mind lol. You people who do christmas and new years, dont you need to work out after? Keep the gym open I say!!!!

In case any of you have not played warcraft, that game with the 3 doors down song was from warcraft. The movie plays much better then the actual video which shows the singer and, although I am no poster model myself, he is rather odd looking. Players in warcraft can choose to be undead which are called “forsaken” which is the meaning of the begining text. The story plays like some tragic romance which admittedly is sad but then so is the song.

3 doors down songs are inspiring but almost depressing at the same time which is, in a way, commendable. I once read that the difference between a novice and a great artist is the ability to inspire strong feelings in those viewing (or in this case listening) to their work.

To expound on that count video too, it reminds me of those emails that went around aoubt pleope bieng albe to raed wrdos all jmubeld up as long as the first and last letter were correct. I dont know if you would really classify that as being conditioned to hear a beep and think of a swear word but both are interesting to think on. Just dont think on anything I say for more then two minutes or blood will shoot out your nose =P.

There are precious few things that can cause me complete bliss but snowball fights are right up there. The snow we got saturday was absolutely perfect for snowballs. Mike and I had a few good volleys =). Among my skills snowball wars is most assuredly one of the top 5. I have mad iceball skills yo, an uncanny nack to lodge snow behind glasses or deep within the ear canal… It is a frightening thing to behold.

He’s saying count you sick people! It is amazing though how a few beeps can totally change the thrust of an idea. This is a wonderful example of how we have been conditioned to such a degree that editing is all but pointless.

So I have four websites in the queue so to speak, fun stuff! Thats what Im going to be doing for the next few months, how about you? Today was a beautiful day, I so wanted to go for a snowy hike. If we have another nice day like this I’ll do just that and get you all some nice snow covered pictures. This is a short one today, coding has made my head hurt, oh how I dislike coding…

Found this, its a bit sappy but a little bit of sappyness is good for the soul, besides I could write a novel to this WoW skit. These guys did a great job.

And just so you know I didnt go soft heres and oldie. This guy has more rings then Elizabeth Taylor, probably more makeup too. What an odd day for music that was lol. Then again now we have mudvayne singing ballads, improvement? Thats debatable.

Welcome back!

This has been a busy week for me, I hope you all are keeping busy and enjoying your work. It is most definetly winter here in Maine, three storms in one week! Oh the humnity! If I had health insurance I would take up skiing to pass the time but alas insurance these days is excessively expensive.
I graduated the ‘New Ventures’ business class tuesday, wow did I learn much in there. I learned how to prepair taxes and keep records, legal concerns for professionals and the need for us to file for LLC status as we take on more business customers. Aside from that we have seem to have found a nitch that should catapult our business over the next year or two. Until then though its ramen noodles for me hehe.
I also just got my 70-270 book today. Ive been slacking on my certifications because we’re trying to get this business and all its processes set up but now that my class is done and the pressing issues are resolved its back to the books for me. MCSA by summer, its not like I have anything else to do!!! stupid snow. Also looking into getting certified with Samsung for both KSU and PBX phone systems and looking into high quality business class firewalls. One of the local businesses use SonicWALL firewalls so Im looking into them and of course everyone knows CISCO. CCNA sounds pretty easy since most of the technical info is similar to Net+.
No more hiking this year so I joined Fitness World once again and not a moment too soon. When I dont have any physical release I think I actually begin slipping into some form of insanity. Easily frustrated and agrivated also I feel like a slug. Now that Ive been back at the gym for the last few weeks Im as right as the mail.
Im quite bored today though. the gym is only opened until noon because of stupid christmas and no one is calling for work because they bought little jonny a Hulk Hogan action figure with the Kung-Fu grip and are now broke. Whats wrong with people, get him a laptop from Electronic Solutions! Oh, why am I not at the gym since they close early you may ask… well after the last storm my landlord towed my roommates car because they came to plow at 10:30 and no one was here to move it. Supposedly they will plow at 10:30 after every storm. I was going to head to the gym after they plowed but of course they have not come, its now 11:40. Some people make life so damn difficult…

Anyway Enjoy the snow, drive safe all that happy horse shit.

Two snow days in a row? Blah, we live in Maine people! Having a bad morning! Not happy! Perhaps I will take this opportunity to compose and give a discourse to my feline compatriots on the snares of laziness, counter-walking, late night escapades and cord chewing… Ah well, at least football will not disappoint.

This song has been on the radio the last three times Ive been in my car… ‘Tis the season to be miserable I guess hehe. Some think this song is about not giving in to suicide, I however belive there is much more to it. I think its about viewing mankind as a whole, as being to some extent connected. We all feel the same feelings, we all groan over the uglyness that is at one time or another magnified in us. During these times we tend to shut the world and our friends out. During these times we almost want to hide our pain so as not to bring more uglyness into this world. During these times it is parmount to our success on any level, personally and as the human family, to understand we are not alone. Perhaps I am crazy, perhaps we are each in fact alone, yet I choose crazy over being alone any day

Regret is defined as, an intelligent or emotional dislike for personal past acts and behaviors. Of course we all have things we are ashamed of, things that reflect a part of us that may astound or even vex.

A wise man once asked, “Are we only to accept what is good?” What if we could choose what we except and change the past. For that matter what if we could give ourselves all our desires of the future? What if we could have everything we wanted today by changing what we did yesterday and stealing from tomorrow, would we really appreciate what we have? Its that whole idea of what is life if not for the journey. The conclusion of the matter, the only true regrets are taking the easy road to the top of the mountain or never climbing for fear you may fail.

I confess that I have learned more about life and myself by failure then success, yet I still regret.

I do so miss the summer, no more hiking for Owen this year…

I was cleaning my closet a few days ago and found an old book of writings by Edgar Allan Poe. I had forgotten all about it and him. The master of the mystery, its very timely I found this since Murder on the Orient piqued my interest in such. I love Edgars poems and sonnets, of wich his most notable is of course the raven (quoth the raven, nevermore!) Below is my favorite.
